ISLAND ESCAPE : All Inclusive Fishing Expeditions
All Inclusive Fishing Expeditions
Island Escape Expeditions offers two programs in one for this expedition to cater to both the angling and non-angling partners and friends onboard. A full schedule of activities will keep both the groups as busy as they wish. We limit this series to only 14 anglers and 6 non-anglers together with our fishing and eco guides plus onshore guides along the route.

Yellowtail Kingfish get over 100lbs

Cost includes all meals, premium wine, beer, juice and water. All onboard chef prepared meals, exclusive shore excursions, helicopter transfers and scenic flights, snorkel equipment, kayaks and small boat exploration, angling gear, and guided walks. The Angling program is dedicated to Fishing that focuses on fishing almost every day. Hours are flexible, mainly dependent on weather and tide times. We move location each day, either in the morning or afternoon.

Play hard, dine fine

Our operation has no rigid daily schedule, however a general area is covered. The different areas will be covered according to what the Captain and angling guides believe will be best in that specific day or week.

Day by day, locations and tides are studied. That way we can provide the best based on the weather conditions, as well as the reports we have from the area. Sessions run accordingly however we endeavor to have 4 to 5 hours allocated most days.

The twin engine helicopter offers flexibilty

We generally practice a "catch and release" system onboard. It is important to maintain the natural stock resources. However you are entitled to retain selected catches that are of legal size and also caught legally.

Non-Angling guests also get to play hard or rest easy.

The non-angling program is built for the non-angling guests, which is their invitation to get to know the Hauraki Gulf alongside first class excursions and expert guides who travel with our guests to uncover the mysteries of the region’s wildlife, as well as going on specialised expeditions like trekking, kayaking, panoramic helicopter flights over the area, among others.

Where we travel

The “Island Passage” cruises either during the mornings or afternoons and by day she anchors in bays, secluded harbours and coves where guests can disembark using the boats, kayaks or helicopter available for the programmed activities. All guides go out equipped with gourmet lunches if the activities planned take all day.

Play hard, sleep soft
