Thanks for everything! The trip was fantastic! Everything went very smoothly, the flights, the hotels and we especially loved the "Arnhemland Barramundi Nature Lodge". Everyone at the lodge was extremely nice and the accommodations were very clean and comfortable. Lindsey was a very gracious host whom was always asking if there was anything we needed or wanted. Truly a very nice guy. And Mick the cook always had something good cooking. We sure didn't lose any weight! Breakfast was made to order, box lunches to eat if and when we took a break from fishing, appetizers before dinner (oysters, calamari, shrimp, nachos), and dinner, the catch of the day, Barramundi, mud crabs, golden snapper, and much more. Great food!!!
Our guide, Trevor was exemplary, he was always able to answer our questions (which there were probably too many) about the Northern Territory, the Aboriginals, birds, fauna, and anything else we could think of including the most important question, "where are the fish"? It seemed as though Trevor always knew. It was an unbelievable thrill pulling Barramundi and Saratoga out of the mangroves, catching a Giant Trevally, Bream, or Queenfish, just to name a few of the many species we caught with a 10 weight flyrod, it just doesn't get any better!! It was the trip of a lifetime!!
Thanks again,
Greg and Linda
